Protective Charm

Protective Charm〈
Two amulets are displayed side by side: one is an older charm long carried by the grandmother, and the other is a newly obtained charm she sought for her granddaughter. The pairing—one old, one new—represents the continuity of care across generations. It also echoes the grandmother’s daily visits to the temple, where she would tell the gods where her children were and pray for their safety, good fortune, and joy.
