Corridor

2025, photo installation

Corridor〈長廊〉is a photographic series installed along the two opposing walls of the exhibition space. Six pairs of images are arranged facing one another, drawn from six different rooms in the family home. Shot from alternating viewpoints—looking outward from within and inward from outside—the images respond to one another across the space, forming a corridor defined by opposing perspectives. Photographed from positions where the artist’s grandmother often sat, the images recall the long hallway that runs through the entire house—her daily vantage point from which she observed the flow of life. The repeated direction of viewing allows the space to function simultaneously as passage and pause, reflecting the slow unfolding of everyday family rhythms over time.
